CSD is currently expanding its activities in Returns, Reintegration and the Dialogue process, assisting in the capacity-building of local NGOs and concerned citizens groups, and working in strengthening the infrastructure of local communities across Kosovo.

Past Projects

CSD worked jointly with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe on the Transparent Community project (broadcast by radio ANTENA, Pristina); we have conducted seminars jointly with the Mother Teresa Society on building Kosovo’s multiethnic environment through the media; we have also worked with the local government in Pristina Municipality, promoting such themes as environmental protection and jointly organizing youth sporting events in rural Pristina municipality. CSD has also implemented AIDS awareness campaigns for UNICEF, and created Danas za Sutra (Today for Tomorrow), a Mercy Corps-funded farming radio program promoting sustainable agriculture and broadcast across Kosovo.

CSD also assisted in the Implementation of Who We Were, Who We Are: Kosovo Roma Oral Histories- a project created and implemented by one of our senior staff, and currently the last single repository of information on Kosovar Roma in existence.
